OUR KITCHEN

Our Kitchen Manager, Mrs McFadyen heads up a team of 6 catering staff. They provide a choice of two hot meals (one meat, one vegetarian) a jacket potato meal which includes our salad bar and a packed lunch alternative called a "Grab & Go" on a daily basis.

A little trade secret .............Mrs McFadyen's favourite recipe books. 

HEALTHY LUNCH BOXES

Our food policy promotes healthy food choices for all children.  As a part of our curriculum, we encourage children to think about what they eat during the whole day.  For those children who bring a packed lunch to school, we encourage them to make healthy choices.

Congratulations to the Haydonleigh Catering Team who have won the LACA South West Primary/Special School Catering Team of the Year 2016.

VEGETABLE GARDEN

Our vegetable garden is fully stocked and provides the kitchen with fresh produce throughout the year.  All the children get a chance to go out and learn skills from our Haydonleigh Harvesters such us how to sow seeds, harvesting produce and general upkeep of our polytunnel and raised beds.
