PE and Sport Premium 2025–2026
Funding received: £6,699

How we have used our funding
During the 2025–2026 academic year, our PE and Sport Premium funding has been used to enhance the quality of physical education, increase participation in competitive sport and provide opportunities for all pupils to lead healthy, active lifestyles.

Our funding has been allocated to:
● Providing additional catch-up swimming lessons for pupils who required further support to meet the National Curriculum swimming expectations.
● Employing qualified sports coaches to deliver high-quality extra-curricular sports clubs, including coaching for our school football teams.
● Enabling pupils to participate in a range of intra-house sporting competitions organised through our School Games Organiser (SGO), encouraging participation, teamwork and healthy competition.
● Purchasing PE equipment to enhance curriculum lessons, active playtimes and extra-curricular provision.

Impact of the Funding
The funding has made a positive impact by:
● Increasing participation in extra-curricular sport and competitive opportunities.
● Supporting pupils to improve their swimming ability through targeted catch-up provision.
● Developing pupils’ confidence, teamwork, resilience and enjoyment of physical activity.
● Enhancing the quality and variety of PE lessons through improved resources and specialist coaching.
● Providing opportunities for all pupils to represent their house in organised sporting competitions.

Sustainability
The improvements made through the PE and Sport Premium will continue to benefit pupils in future years. New equipment will support high-quality PE lessons for many cohorts to come, while staff continue to work alongside specialist coaches to develop their own confidence and expertise. Our ongoing involvement in School Games competitions will ensure pupils continue to access a wide range of competitive sporting opportunities.
