- Year 3 High Ropes / Orienteering Lydiard Park Trip21May2024
As a part of our Year 3 PE curriculum, we are planning a trip to Jungle Parc at Lydiard Park on Tuesday 21st May. During the day, pupils will participate in a High Ropes activity as well as an orienteering challenge. Please refer to the letter for full details.

As part of the RE curriculum we are studying sacred places and their importance. We have already learnt about various religious sacred places and will now be looking at a Christian Church. Please refer to letter for full details.
- Charity Rainbow Run23May2024

The staff and children are all very excited to use our new running track at Haydonleigh. We would like to officially open the track by holding a charity rainbow run! All children are invited to come to school in their own rainbow themed clothes – the more colourful the better! We would like to ask for a donation of £1 for each child (payable by Scopay) to help raise money for Great Western Hospital’s ‘Brighter Futures’ appeal. The children will run together in year groups around the track and we aim to form a whole school rainbow around the track at the start of the school day. We are looking forward to a fun day together, celebrating our lovely new track while raising vital funds for this important cause.
